Title: Raddish
Post by: jordsbabe on July 27, 2008, 13:53:10
I thought i saw it on here that you can grow raddish in a seed tray?  I have some raddish in seed trays but was wondering if they would be better off in something deeper!

I used to grow 7 million radish in a past job, and found that the tap roots go down quit a distance, all I could say is try sowing in a deep tray, something like a window box tray and see what happens. They dont take long to grow, especially in the glasshouse, give a go see what happens and let me know!
Good luck.

This never worked for me.  I got nothing.  I grew them in 8" pots and now get loads.

Welcome Surrey Steve... I didn't have much joy with them even in deep pots, but growing fine in the greenhouse border...  :-\
