Title: Time flies.
Post by: allaboutliverpool on July 26, 2008, 22:49:13
I went to tend to my vegetables this morning at 8:30am for a couple of hours without my watch.

Stripped to the waist in shorts and sandles I thoroughly enjoyed myself and left at 1:30pm!

It was just as well that my wife is away, or was it because?

It's great isn't it.

The 1st sunshine we've had up here in the North West for months. ;D

I've had my shirt off all day and now look like a bloody Lobster. :o

Everybody's saying it's too hot to work. With hedges and trees everywhere on the site, the breeze can't get to us, and it really is roasting. A thunderstorm would be welcome, as long as it waits for us to go home before it starts.

Just curious- what temperature do you call roasting?

That depends on the humidity. It wasn't that hot in absolute terms, but it was enough to get my wife, who's from the equator, moaning about how hot it was.
