Hi I have inherited a shed that needs some tlc. It was built by a carpenter so is structurely sound but it has no windows . I have aquired a large sheet of thick perspex and would ike to use it but have no idea as to cutting it ! Any advice would be welcome :-\
Score quite deep with a stanley blade and then snap it.
Use a Dremel.

ah, a Dremel is a rotary tool that can use many different attachments from cutting discs to polishing pads and from drill bits to grinding discs. If you'd have had one i would have suggested using the Dremel with a cutting disc, however seeing as you haven't then probably the best bet i to try "score" the perspex several times with a Stanley Knife or similar cutting blade.
are yo near gatwick? I could cut it for you......
no andy I'm in south wales but thanks for the very kind offer :)
If its fairly thick you can use a hack saw or a fine toothed blade on a jigsaw.
