It is not often I have to do this but this plant seems everywhere in a clients garden, but not knowing what it is I dont know how best to deal with it.
It has foliage like a dock with flowers like a small sunflower. My thoughts are either, Innula, Sorrel or Horseradish, but of course it could be neither of these . I include a photo to help.

Your first guess is probably correct. It looks like Inula (Elecampane).
Dig out unwanted roots and cut flower stems away soon after flowering is finished.
Inula magnifica is definitely what it looks like. Nice plant.
Thanks. Is it easy to dig out if it is growing in the wrong place or even to transplant?
