Title: PSB flowering - good or bad?
Post by: Yampybird on July 18, 2008, 21:58:19
One of my PSB plants has little yellow flowers on it.  They aren't very big and have only been transplanted to the bed for a few weeks.  The pigeons had a bit of a go before I netted them (the PSB not the pigeons).  Does this mean they've bolted and I should dig them up?

Thanks for reading  :)

Hi

They have not bolted but are flowering.  Best to cut off the flowering stalks as if you are going to cook them and then some more should sprout and you can eat these before they flower.

Good luck.

Thanks Tulipa

It hadn't dawned on me they would flower so young, they only had a few tiny bits of Purple sprouts on them.  I shall cut back and see what happens. ;D
