Title: MY CUCUMBER HAS GONE MISSING
Post by: betula on July 16, 2008, 23:54:56
Went to lottie tonight to water cucumber number two and it is not there.
Growing them in a lean type of greenhouse and there is absolutely no sign of it.Surely no one would pinch a cucumber.Made me really sad.The only predator that could get in would be a mouse or yuk a rat.

My runner beans have been mostly eaten, but hey I picked some great radishes. They were pushing themselves out of the ground.Had some tonight and quite hot, fresh and tasty.

The courgette plants are really strange ,they look quite ill but are producing and flowering.

My roses are quite beautiful.

I do wish I knew what has happened to my cucumber.

I've never had courgette plants as sick-looking as they are this year - but they are producing courgettes like crazy. Even the all-male plants.  Courgette flowers fried in batter are getting a bit boring now. :-\ :-\

My yellow courgette plants last year looked awful, but they just kept fruiting and fruiting.

I tried some of the same this year but none came up.  The green ones are doing well and looking healthy.  Only three are fruiting so far but we are already getting over run with them...heaven knows what we will do if the other ten suddenly start to produce fruit!

I though we were having a game of CUEDO so I reckon it is Miss Radish in the coldframe with a cabbage stump.
