wipe all the piccies of my camera memory card ready to go on holiday please dont tell me i have to do it one at a time!
would think it will be menu, delete all.what camera is it??
If I download all my pics into a folder, it gives me the option to delete them all from the memory card half way through the process, try that but read all the options rather than just pressing "next" which is what I am prone to do
There should be an ERASE > ALL FRAMES option on the menu.
Or Control/A should select all - then hit delete.
On my canon I have to put it on to viewing, then select menu which brings up options, one of which is erase, which in turn offers all images.
Most cameras have an option to format the memory card.
You may need to read the manual for this though, or look it up on the manufacturer's website.
if you cant find the setting on your camera plug the camera in your pc
go to
my computer
camera name (may be just called removeable storage but it will be obvious which drive is the camera)
drill down the folders until you can see a picture
control - A (to select all)
shift - delete to delete all pictures without sending them to your recycle bin (shift may not be necesary)

it should tell you how to delete all from your camera in the camera manual
Erasing files does not always clear all the memory, to get the maximum capacity on your card you need to re-format. This should be in the menu on the camera.
NEVER delete or re-format the card via the computer.
