I sent this mail to Wilkinsons....
Why when I purchased horseradish from you did it grow into Scorzona Humilis? THIS IS NOT HORSERADISH!! I am extremely angry at having to waste time and effort growing a plant that is classed as a perennial weed and now I have wasted this growing season for horseradish. Do Trading Standards know of this problem of yours yet? False advertising etc. Please feel free to refund my cash and get a new supplier Mrs J Brown

When I emailed on the 11th I got an error message first time so re-sent it and it appeared to work, but I'm wondering now. I tried again after your message today and the same thing happened so I phoned Customer Service (a freephone number, thumbs up for Wilko!) and told them about it. They are writing to me after they've investigated, so fingers crossed too.

Woohoo! £10 gift voucher just dropped through the letterbox. I am so impressed with Wilkinsons' customer service. Prompt replies, a freephone number and no quibble when there's a problem.
They didn't say how the problem arose, just that they've only had 3 complaints out of 5,700 sales. Which means there are 5,697 people eating scorzonera sauce with their roast beef!

Ha ha! Got another letter this morning with another gift voucher - £5 this time! I think it happened becuase I got an error message when I submitted a form on the website so submitted it again. I shall however do the decent thing and tell them.
