I have grown some asparagus peas for the first and last time this year.
Despite warnings from many of you at A4A in previous threads I allocated an 8x4 raised bed for this crop, much paised by Thompson and Morgan.
They taste nothing like peas, or asparagus, and more like a mouthful of hay, even when only an inch long.
When I return from France in a few days, I will have one last go and create a curry side dish as it is the only thing that I can think of to make them palatable.
They are also very small and quite a job to get enough to call a pulling.
For a change you might like to see our place in Nice on my wife's blog.
