It is more likely if it stays wet and cool that the tomatoes will just rot.

if there in a greenhouse (cold ) and the temp stays around 17 degrees wouldnt that be enough as my greenhouse seems to be constant 17 latly and i cant stop them growing there shooting everywhere

We're still quite early in the season as far as tomatoes are concerned. I've just started picking an early variety (Bloody Butcher) from my un-heated greenhouse; I wouldn't expect the bulk of them (Shirley) to be ready until the end of the month; outdoor varieties are ready in August & September.

The main problem with outdoor tomatoes isn't rotting or failure to ripen, but blight. Check the weather forecasts, but if it warms up next week it might be a good idea to spray.

(And if you've still got unripe fruit at the end of the season, pick them and leave them to ripen in a cool room; my mother kept herself in home-grown tomatoes till Christmas by doing that!)
