Title: Pineapple Sage

A few months 'Georgie' on this forum sent me a small bare rooted pineapple sage.

Look at it now, its about 2 foot square!

That is sooooooooo wierd!

I was only thinking about Pineapple Sage this morning.I was thinking of going to Chatsworth House at the weekend to "pinch" a cutting......dont tell anyone though  ;D

Hey, it's looking good, Sawfish.  Doesn't it smell just heavenly and wait till you get those lovely flowers in autumn.  :D

mine's in a morrison's black bucket, looks and smells great and can't wait for the flowers

What is the spread like on this plant? I am thinking about setting up a herb bed on the allotment. Just deciding what will need to be planted in buired buckets?

Mine gets to at least 3 x 3ft...but only because I let it...

(just letting it know who's boss!)

It's so ornamental, especially in flower. Blackcurrant sage is very similar though mine is in a pot so is less rampant.

It needs to come in over winter though as its not hardy.
