I thought girlie wee was not good for the compost? I'm sure I've seen this debated somewhere (might even be here). Something to do with the hormones?
Okay, but even if it's no good for the compost heap if a girls gotta go she's gotta go! ;D I knew I should have kept that potty and not thrown it away.

:) Multiveg, I seem to recall quite a heated discussion re "homemade compost activator", and I'm pretty sure it was only men's wee that was suitable. Can't remember why, sorry! ???
Not sure but seem to remember mens have the contents of beer.
But ours will work its the acid in it that breaks everything down.
Also if you have moles if you put your leftover down the mole hole ( they work by scent) they move on effective I have used it and it works.
So our wee comes in handy also if you bottle it sounds strange I know it gets stronger more potent especialy for moles and compost heaps.

I heard an article on the radio about drinking..........erm, I think I'd better stop that thought right there.... The first one in the morning is the best (for the compost heap that is as well)

Yep first thing in the morning is the strongest and if the OH has been on Newcastle Ale very good for Leeks no pun intended. Ment to make them grow.
Filmstars drink it but as soon as they do it something to do with protien or whatever we pass they send it through for a second time.

I Think, THINK, Sarah Miles admitted to drinking pee once, and is plagued by being asked about it nowadays, 30 odd years later...e.g. by Graham Norton (or was it Parkinson...)...
Right sorry if too much info (look away men) but another great addition to any compost heap is menstural blood. Its meant to be good for roses to. I can't for the life of me remember why.
If you use a mooncup instead of a tampon or pad then not only are you protecting the environment and your body by not using those horrible synthetic bleached things, but you can collect the contents for your lottie :)

The mooncup is a great idea. though i have never recyled the contents just washed it away... cant think of a hygenic and discreet way to collect it ...
coloured glass jar hidden away in your bathroom, like a cleaned out marmite jar.
Easily emptied under the cover of night (or any time for me since I'm not embarrased or squeemish! 8)
