There have been a few threads lately about growing in pots.
I thought I would share a picture of the peas which I have picked today. I started growing in pots last year, and although you don't get a huge harvest, you can grow successfully.
I have already picked enough peas for two meals from one pot, these are what I have picked today, and there are still pods fattening up which have been left on the plants.

What variety are those - Sep Guilletou? If so they look better than my pot based ones!
Brilliant i'm so excited more things to grow in pots!!!!!!
Wow, Jo, that's impressive. I've given up growing peas in pots because the yields are so small. What's your secret?

14'' pot, at least 8 plants in each pot, and water well ;D
I put an obelisk in the pot for them to grow up and the plants around the obelisk.

Hmmm. That's not too dissimilar to my 6 plants in a 12" pot with a bamboo cane wigwam. ::) Might give 'em another go next year then. :)
