My Pineapple Guavas have blossomed their little hearts out this year - fingers crossed for fruit.
Sorry, still no good at posting photos - have added the second one
Beautiful.Fingers crossed. :)
Ooh, that's pretty. :)
G x
wonderful is that out on the open or in a greenhouse??
:)
Outdoors Cam, in a big pot, but I'll be planting it in the ground next year along with its little brother. Here's big brother, with some mates:
they're really lovely ;D
Cheers all, I'm really thrilled with them this year. The flowers are edible and very pleasant, but of course I can't touch them or I'll ruin my chances for fruit.
Makes up for the slow progress of the Banana Passionfruit, which is just getting into gear now. This time last year it had the first flowers and the first fruit by 10th July.
Here's hoping for a long, late season!
;D
Absolutely amazing; what a beautiful plant. I hope they develop into fruit.
Where did you get the seeds from Amazin?
I bought mine as plants Pauline, about £7 each from a garden centre.
I've tried them from seeds and they germinated pretty well but then the usual tragedy struck and they were some creature's breakfast.
You can get the seeds from Jungle Seeds:

Be warned - that site is addictive!

Sorry, GW, that one just did a Red Arrows - went zooming straight over!
Try again (think 'Janet & John').
Is it to do with taking close ups? If so, there's only one bud left still unopened, so let me know quick!
;D
Yes Amazin ;), its a close up shot. Im butting in on behalf of GW coz I want to see it too. :D
It does look very pretty
yup a close up please ;D
Sorry folks, I missed the opening of that final bud.
One small consolation though...
IT'S FRUITING!
no worries .....next year ;D
Might as well GW, the fruit's not half as pretty as the flowers!
;D
but what do they taste like ?
the flowers are so pretty ;D
