I have brought a 1.5 litre icecream maker (Magimix Le Glacier) as another way to use all the lovely fruit.
Any tried and tested recipes that you could recommend would be very welcome)
Thanks
I do not like ice cream, but to answer your question, I went shopping in Sainsbury's today, and bought their latest magazine. Nigel Slater has several recipies for ice cream in it.

Ours had a recipe book with it. We use the strawberry ice-cream recipe for everything. Can't remember quantities (not that sort of cook!) but blitz some fruit, sweeten & make up to a pint or so with double cream. Churn & freeze.
Thanks to both of you - didnt read closely enough - didnt see the strawberry icecream recipe and also will go and get the Nigel Slater recipes in the Sainsbury's mag. Thank you!
For a healthier option, try frozen yoghurt, tried this in our ice cream maker it was heavenly!!!! Can't remember recipe atm though, will dig it out in a while.
For a totally unhealthy option try mascapone ice cream, recipe here http://www.foodiesite.com/recipes/2002-10:masicecr
We make up the ice cream then ripple some strawberry coulis through it before putting in the freezer. Very nice indeed :D
There are quite a few recipes here.
