Afraid so, noticed yesterday 2 plants with yellowed leaves, darkened stems.  Ripped them out which really hurt as they both had a few green toms on.  Both plants outside.

Some early blight here, mid-Kent, no late blight yet though.

It's a fungus that's spread by wind and rain splash.  It thrives in warm humid weather - just like we've been having!  We don't get much potato blight on our site but the tomato blight is awful.  Last year it started really early and wiped everything out.  I had it on peppers too although not as bad as the toms.  I'm surprised it's so late this year.

Keep the leaves dry, if you can.

Bordeaux mixture or Dithane spray will help too.

I had to dig up my maincrop potatoes today because of blight.

They where at the other end of the plot,as far away from my greenhouses as possible...but I will be keeping a close eye on my tomatoes

Jordsbabe, if you notice blight on the leaves or stems of your toms, take the fruit off and let them ripen on a windowsill.  If the blight gets the fruit, they turn nasty.  And don't compost the plants - burn them or put them in the rubbish.
