Title: Broad Bean delight
Post by: sawfish on July 05, 2008, 14:34:50
I just picked my first broad beans last week. I always left them to get big before I picked them in the past but this time I got them young and what a delight.

Broad beans were always my favourite veg but these small ones were sublime! White Windsor and bunyards exhibition. Looking forward to trying my Martock beans but they're not ready yet.

Well done Stan, we had our first about a week ago... Martock are good but small, grew them for years, can't remember why we stopped?  ???
