I'm starting a company that will design and sell T-Shirts mugs etc and would like to know what you think of my first design that will go on sale....

Its aimed at yonger people than us so I'm not asking if you'd buy it more if you think it would sell? (it will have a v neck)
Well, it might aptly describe me, but I wouldn't wear it. ;D

Thanks valmarg, the question was kind of do you think people would wear it more than would you.
So many competitors, Mick. How about exchanging the the 't' for an 'r' and trying it at gardening shows? ;D

I do think a lot of younger ones would wear it judging by what I see them wearing........good luck ;)
But Georgie does have a very good point!
Just asked daughter 2 who is 24, she said not and thinks her friends would say likewise. Maybe the teenage market would say differently. Sorry Mick.

I do have a few (23) allotment/gardening designs I'll make but as they are more from the heart and wouldn't make a profit they will have to be snecked passed my brothers.
I know the pregnant dog range won't be for everybody but looking at what young people wear I do think they'll sell.
I'm close to getting a licence to make merchandise for Striker (cartoon in The Sun) which has 3.5m readers but I have around 300 designs of my own that I'd sooner work on to start with because then I don't have to deal in copyright law which can be a total pregnant dog.
Look closely at bikers and their old ladies, been done before.
Why add to the nastiness in the world?
(Just my opinion)
My daughters say no too sorry :(
However 1 said "Why didnt he do "Bitchy babe or Miss (Bi) tch"? as I like those better.
Perhaps something to think on?
hehehe my eldest daughters favourite saying is;
I may be a (bi) tch, but to you I am Miss (bi) tch!!!
Hi Mick,
My wife is 24, She has spent ages making designs for T-shirts recently.
None of them said B*tch. (Its a Disney thing, you wouldn`t understand ;D)
I`m with GrannieAnnie. Its not a nice word and by itself doesn`t add anything to the world. As Ishard writes, If you must use it why not with a slogan. It could by clever and funny but by itself its not.
If you are going for shock value or attention seeking you might get it but I`d hope your customers will grow beyond that.
Good luck with your company, don`t forget to do websales and sneak in a link when Dans not looking. ;D
PS. My wife just woke up, she says that although she has seen this word on a Tshirt
the punk girls she works with would come up with something more clever and funny and wouldn`t wear it for long.
Col
Thanks for telling me what you think, can I get opinions one these two please?....

Number 1 yes
Number 2 no :)
Do some girly allotment ones in proper fitted ladies t-shirts! I would buy them!! Would you share any of your allotment designs?
I will put the allotment designs up but they need a little work yet.
There is on in a thread in The Shed somewhere.

15 year old daughter says she wouldn't buy/wear the 'pregnant dog' shirt I'm afraid Mick....
She thinks the devil one is funny , but doesn't like the square around it, makes it look stuck on apparently..!

It wouldn't have the square around it that only shows up because of a problem on the design program.
i would wear the one that says pregnant dog particularly if you did a his version that says bitches husband lol ;D
;D I like the bottom one, it sounds like a campaign.
The top one is no longer shown.

lOVE THE ONE WITH THE SHOES MICK.
I also like the one with the shoes. I have a similar one to that already but it has a few girly sequins/glitter bits here and there. Are you going to add anything like that to yours, Mick?
BTW, if I had a daughter who came down stairs wearing a t-shirt with b!tch written across it, she'd get a right hander! :-\ :)
I found the B*tch t-shirt too confrontational for my liking, sorry - liked the little devil though (more like me ;D).
Twinkletoes
I think they are ok.
Only problem I would see is how would you differentiate you from all the other online stores ?
I always think the irrelevant ones are funny.
May fave is "Jesus is coming....Quick look busy !!!"

Thats a good question and one I don't have an answer to yet, I intend looking for an outside company to design a website but because we hope to be moving in the next week or two I haven't started to look into that yet.
The Bit ch t-shirt is strange, people under 30 seem to love it but anyone over that age hates it.
Well i am 33 I dont have a problem with it. However, those sort of t'shits remind me of Vicky Pollard. Yeah but no.
i would have a look at student orientated sites, if for nothing but insperation. Alternatively how about new mums / dads. Cute T's for the little guys.
i have 2 step children 18 & 21 both girls, both divas. The youngest would wear it (the chav LOL) but the oldest would hate it. White T's aswell I think look odd. Have you looked at different colour schemes ?
What about famouse quotes ? or insperational quotes ?
Not criticising I think its a great idea. I am by no means a business consuiltant.
Personally i would leave the pregnant dog t/shirt on the back burner with todays cranky climate of some youngsters, looking for trouble for troubles sake
"know what i mean".
how about one which says' I hate people who wear their opinions on their shirts' ;)
when i was on tour with the rolling stones and elton john, they both sold tshirts with b***ch emblazoned across the front,as both bands have songs with thay word in the title, and most of the audience seemed to be wearing one.not my cup of tea though

LOL
A few years back I bought a t-shirt that says, "If you don't like my attitude you can <insert F word> off" because it summed up how I was feeling that day but to this day I've never worn it because it's too offensive! LOL ;D

Take it you'd prefer "Hound Dog". ;D
Im just going to ask my wife what opinion she wants me to have. 8) 8) ???
