Title: What Can I Grow? Late Starter
Post by: newbiemumof2 on July 03, 2008, 10:10:33
Hi i'm mum of 2 with 1 on the way and this year was to be the year I started growing my own vegetables.  However due to killer morning sickness i'm a late starter.  So far i've managed to clear some space in my garden for a greenhouse (when I can afford it) and i've planted radishes, lettuce, carrots and beetroot, about a week ago.  I've also managed to acquire some small pepper, tomato and
strawberry plants.
I've also been given a packet of pumpkin seeds, but I think i'm to late to plant these but i'm unsure.
My question is what else can I plant that will grow at this time of year, I know i'm to late for most things.
I have got a little plastic 2 tier greenhouse to start things off until i get my large one, I don't know if that'll make any difference?

Thanks for your help and sorry for my wordy introduction :D

we're still sowing frnech beans and things, there are still places who are selling plants if you're lucky, local nurseries etc,
next year, at least the morning sickness won't be a problem  ;D
