Post by: The Cardinal on June 29, 2008, 20:20:47
A whole row of carrot seedlings has 'disappeared' overnight! The rows on either side are fine. This has happened to me several times so far this season -any1 know what's going on? ???

Glad it's not just me - out of what feels like thousands of carrot seeds that I've sown I had two that grew last week.  This week...........................................they've gone!!! Has to be slugs, weren't big enough for anything else to have bothered.

I agree those damned molluscs again... although I have seen pigeons pulling at them, but they tend to leave a lot of evidence behind...  :-\
