Title: ideas for shallots
Post by: cambourne7 on June 29, 2008, 12:55:09
Hi Guys,

Pulled a load of shallots on friday and left them to dry, they had started to go to seed which is why i pulled them. BUT they have continued to go to seed in the heat.

I guess i need to do something with them quickly, i plan on pulling one of 2 i have seen which have split and repot. Which leaves me with about 30 or 40 small shallots any ideas what i can do with them?

Louise

Do you pickle them like onions?

But DON'T rush to eat. Store them for so many recipes.

Pickled? Much the same as Onions, but so much nicer
