Title: Fluffy pink pipecleaners
Post by: ceres on June 25, 2008, 22:36:50
but what are they?

I thought I had a spare blueberry plant sitting on my staging until it started putting up these long arching shoots and tonight when I got home it has these two pink fluffly little blooms just like pipecleaners.  Any ideas?

Sure it's not a Knotty Ash (Doddius Ticklestickius)?

;D

Or maybe one of the Salvias - Buchananii, perhaps?

Ah! Great call Amazin, Doddius Ticklestickius it is then!

Thank you, you were close enough to get me there - Salvia chiapensis.  It is very very pretty and I have no idea where it came from!  But I'm very pleased to have it.
