Title: MY ALLOTMENTS WK25 UPDATE
Post by: STEVEPARTRIDGE on June 24, 2008, 23:47:32
Hello all, just to let you know that I have posted my latest update, it includes some information on the problem of manure being contaminated with a herbicide which is affecting allotments up and down the UK, I hope this is not as serious as it appears to be, regards Steve.

Once again your plot looks great.

I agree with you about pigeons, I have now had to protect brassicas, peas, broad beans, salads, strawberries, blackcurrants and gooseberries and my raised beds are now becoming a mass of Heath Robinson type assemblies. They are all effective, but not exactly pretty.

You might be interested in the Butternut Squash houses which can be moved from bed to bed.
