We have planted peas in numerous places. The ones up the lottie are looking really healthy but no flowers yet. These were popped in next to the fence in the garden and by magic have flowered and shown the first pea pod when only a foot high!
Shhhhhhhhh or every one will want one.
Must take a pic of the Salmon flowered... they are in full show now and all the flowers come above the foliage... ;D
Here's some purple podded to be going on with...

That was last year when I only had ten seeds to bulk up... they look much more impressive this time. ;D
I can't find any info about salmon-flowered pea out there; what's it like? Any chance of some seeds later? The Magnum Bonum you sent me are flourishing, though they're not flowering yet.
I've just come back from holiday - I visited a lovely garden in Herefordshire called Hampton Court they were growing loads of heritage varieties which was great! They were growing the Salmon-flowered pea - it was really beautiful. Needless to say I would also be interested in a few seeds too - if you can spare some ;)
I'm sure I can set you up with some unusual bean seed in return!

Sure.. pm me and I'll leave it in my Inbox until we have done this years harvest
We ate a few off the plant and they were nice, but not a lot as we were bulking them up. When they dry they are a lovely fawn with pink speckles.. very distinctive. My Magnum are about 4' and climbing well... should start flowering soon, we have just sown a second batch. ;D
Hi Saddad
Those peas look rather interesting. Are they from heritage seeds and if so where is the best place to buy them from?
Many thanks
