Yes Markfield, that has confused me as well. My understanding is that it is an F1 that has dropped off the national List (hence Heritage?) they have been around for a while now...  ???

Can someone make me a BIG NEWBIE sign!!

So you can take cuttings from your tomatoe plants? If so is there a link anywhere to show me how? By the way I have no flowers on my plants yet!

Easy Babe - just take out any unwanted sideshoot - the shoot between the leaf frond & the main stem - that's about 4" long & stiff, & stick it in!

I have been doing this for years, the last lot I took was much less than six weeks ago. It was to show some else that it works!

These are already flowering and they have been outside all the time. I let them get quite big if I am taking cuttings from a 'master plant' this helps them get started.

Keep telling people 'you only need to buy one tomato plant if you are not growing from seed.'

I always do this, all my outdoor G.D. are from cuttings, these clones are then at the same stage of maturity as the parent plant, and fruit much lower on the plant, ideal for outdoor cultivation! ;)
