Brilliant! I've had no luck from seed so cheated and brought 5 or 6 plants from the garden centre now they are fruiting but to be honest I have no patience so no fruit this year would of been hell for me.

I have a plot 10 by 16 feet of strawberries, all started from a supermarket berry. They dont taste the same as the orignal, still ok though, soil, weather etc may effect taste.

scrape seed off of fruit, soak this for a couple of days in a glass of water, then rinse any fruit residue off in a sieve.  ;) ( be wary, most commercial strawberries are F1, so not all will come true from seed, but some will though!)
