I was give some seeds which i put in the trouble is i have no idea what the emerging seedlings will look like ,any one out there that can help?
bit like celery, feathery I suppose, squeeze a leaf, they're quite spicy ;D
I'd also ay a bit like flat-leaf parsley- aain you can distinguish it by the taste. I've sown some outside for the first time this year and been surprised at how well it's doing.
STEVEB,
when I'm sowing anything for the first time and don't know what the emerging leaves look like, I sow them in a straight line, and anything not growing in a straight line must be a weed .
Just an idea, hope it helps :)
They also have the ' distinctive coriander smell' quite soon. So that may help with identification.
The type grown for leaf look very like parsley, those for seed tend to look a bit more like a cross between parsley & dill.
