Excellent update Steve, your plot is amazing as ever. I've never seen a plot so weed free, you must spend hours looking after it.

Many thanks all for your replies. yes we had a fantastic Open Day and raised £600 towards our site improvement fund, we have since been awarded funding for our Compost Toilet block which will be installed in the next couple of months so the money raised will go towards obtaining our Clubhouse, the next Open Day is planned for the 16th August which is during the National Allotment Week, the Strawberry plants were given to me as runners from another plotholder when I first got an allotment so I do not know the variety I'm afraid but the one pictured sure tasted nice, it didn't make it home I'm afraid, speak soon regards Steve.
