The rose is David Austin, Hidcote I think
The clematis is Nelly Moser. Both in my much neglected caravan garden.
The rose
What about my rose then :)
I love nelly moser, ours has just developed wilt, the other one, the dog tromped on and broke..love the colour of the rose, is it scented ?
do you mean the garden is neglected or the caravan ? ;D
Arrrrrrr thanks manics thought no one was going to admire my beautiful rose,It has a wonderful scent and looks more like a peony.
We have a great static van but have not been able to get to it much lately so my little garden there does get neglected. It was a wonderful treat to see the rose and Nelly in full bloom when we arrived last time ;D
Your rose is a beauty, Betula - I love David Austin roses, and have 8 of them - no, nine. I'd love more, but have absolutely no room! The scent is heavenly, isn't it?
Big and blousey, Just what I would expect from trailer trash ;D
Unfortunatly thes type of blooms do not fit in with most 'designers' idea of a garden nowadays, but tucked away in a corner of my garden Nellie does her thing, and I sneak out and get my nostalgia fix when nobody is looking.
Our roses are too vigerous for the arch we have them on... but we have a wonderful clematis (Dr Ruppel?) on the arbour on the top lottie... ;D

Your only jealous ACE cus you live in a tent with a plant pot to call a garden. ;D
Glad you love Nellie.............she is the Queen of clematis.
It looks like your rose would smell lovely. I can't see growing roses that aren't fragrant but have bought some that were supposed to be and turned out to be just another pretty face. Nelly is a wonderful clematis.
