To 1lb (500g) pasta add:

  - 1/2 garlic sausage or 1/2 dutch boiling sausage sliced
  - 4 oz (125g) cheddar cheese chopped
  - 1 granny smith apple chopped
  - 3 tblsps vinaigrette dressing

Kids and adults love this - a good standby

Good luck

Chopped red pepper, sweetcorn, raisins, chopped parsley, mayonnaise and apple puree.  Mix all together with the cooked pasta and don't serve to Italians - they will turn their noses up at it.  Brit food, definitely.

Cooked pasta, chopped salad veg of your choice, cooked chicken, curry powder mixed with a small amount of boiling water (allow to cool and then mix with mayonnaise) yum curried pasta salad.  You can always mix a bottled  curry sauce with mayo if you prefer.

Here's a Waitrose one using tuna (and if you put in all the ingredients they'll be getting their 5-a-day as well ;D). Useful for the non-meat eaters?
