My OH's parents have a few cats around the house, and a couple of them have just had kittens - the intention was to get the "done", but a tom got in there first.
The problem is there in N.Ireland - and without meaning to offend anyone - cats are not the most popular pet over there, giving them away would be difficult, selling them would be almost impossible.
So - what to do with them. The local vet won't take them, and suggested nothin as far as i know, the N.Ireland branch of the Cats Protection is full up....
Any takers - or suggestions...
There are 6 tabby's abut 6 weeks old and at least 2 others less than 1 week old (there could be more which hav'nt been found yet, all the cats live outside in the shed(s))...

try freecycle or adtrader or something
aaaaawwwwwwww! cute!
OMG, they are gorgeous, they look just like Loki (our Norwegian Forest cat) .... my SIL is looking for a kitten, but she is in London. I hope you find homes for them :(
they sell for between £30 and £40 each round here
This is a list of cat rescue sites hope it will be of some help

it may be difficult to give them away but have they even tried?
Put up notices in local shops, put an ad in the local papers, someone else suggested freecycle, ask the vet if they can put a notice on his notice board, agricultural feed merchants have notice boards so find the local one and put an ad on their notice board and i'd also include that photo as they are adorable!
Leaflet the neighbours or do some door knocking.
How cruel to let a cat have kittens with no homes for them to go, but then I suppose they know they've been irresponsible.
just looking at them kittens again. they remind me of the cat witch walks around my allotments picking of the mice. great thing that cat is. doesnt poo on my plot and gets rid of pests.
I wouldn't say cruel, just bad timing!

Really bad timing - the two mothers must only be 8 or 9 months old !
There are several other organisations that rehome cats in Northern Ireland, have they tried them all?

I suppose I'm going to be unpopular but cats should be neutered to stop this breeding and then we have people trying to find the kittens homes, I'm sick to death of cat nuts on our garden ;)
