has anyone used pigeon poo on their plot for manure.
we have a very good supply availale to us but not sure if it can be used.
please help and many thanks
My father uses it as a fertiliser - it has very high ammonia, so be careful with it, but it works a treat... I suppose you could let it rot down too, and use it as compost. It would also be very helpful on a compost heap.
I got some from a local "pidgeon fancier" and used it on my compost heap, its a good accelerator.
Apparently its also very good for mulching around roses.
my dad used when I was a lad in the 50's on our veg and look how I have turned out, ;D ;)
