Those look like good strong slips - who did you buy from if not the dreaded T&M ('spit' -  to quote an ACE-ism!).

I seem to have a special variety of slow growing sweet potatoes. After 2 months mine are 2 inches high, one inch was attached to the root and the second inch has grown since potting them a week ago. Maybe I should have potted them on a month ago when they were half an inch high!

This is my first attempt and I suppose there is time again next year.

my slips from T+M were very disappointing this year, fine previously. I think they have all taken now...  ???

Hi everyone

I have grown sweet potatoes for 2 years now.  The 2006 season I got a good crop because we had the Indian summer.  But last year was hopeless and I didn't get anything.

I would be interested to know how other people have done with sweet potatoes.
