Title: red ants...........and lots of them!
Post by: ladyice on June 05, 2008, 19:49:37
hi i dont know what to do about our red ants.
ive moved in with my new fella but his idea of gardening was to cut the grass when it reached waist high and we now have about 10 red ant hills. ive poured boiling water on them but the hills are too deep and ive not been getting them all.
we have a dog and id like to sow grass for a decent lawn some time this year!
has anyone any good ideas?

Borax mixed with jam will sort them. Put it under a slate or something so rain and bees can't get at it.
