Title: bugs appearing on pepper plants kept indoors?
Post by: Crystalmoon on June 03, 2008, 09:00:22
Hi everyone, i just discovered some tiny greenish see through type bugs hidden under the leaves of one of my pepper plants.
I have sown & grown this indoors so dont know where the bugs have come from. Only one out of 6 plants on the same windowsill is affected. I have removed it.
I do open the window above the peppers for ventilation on hot days could this be how the bugs got in?
Any advice welcome

sounds like greenfly, or aphids, both the same nuisances, spray with a mild soft soapy liquid,  :)

Even with 10 plants, we just squidge them - much surer.

I always get greenfly on my basil that I grow in the kitchen. You'd think they'd prefer to be outside, wouldn't you? And my aubergines are infested with sciarid flies. >:(
