my dad gave me some coriander seed which being the good son i am i put in for him, question is WHAT do you do with it?
cook with it :) and you can save the seeds too if yours does as mine has and flowers :)
It's lovely with fish :P :P :P :P
Crushed in Danish pastry dough. Very aromatic, ahhh. Or plant some between two red bricks in a dry area- it loves heat and then use the leaves (that look like flat parsley) on top of tomato salsa and serve with tortilla chips. Has a metalic taste that grows on you.
sprinkle it on Indian curries as a garnish nothing better than fresh coriander leaves.
Chop it and add it to the pot like mint, or use it as a garnish. Namissa's taken to adding it to her African recipes.
I chop up the leaves and put in salads...yum yum
I make salsa with mine, loads and loads of corriander in a salsa .... mmm lovely
