Your orange daisy things are in flower early too.

I got some in a packet of mixed seeds which suggest they are sown may/june to flower july august.

Notice all the potatoes in the picture have flowered also.

Things must be much further ahead in your area

the orange flower are marigolds, calendula. I have them all over the allotment as an attractant and as a companion plant. One will be in flower every day of year, hence latin name.

I'm envious of your soil- nice and dark!
The windows must help also. Are they fastened down with screws?

Dare not show my runner beans, 6" high i am off to give them a serious talking to,  November sown broad beans picked and frozen yesterday, apart from those we had for dinner, gorgeous.  Shirley B
