hi all, here is a pic of my nearly finished g'house,so far it has not cost me a penny, just have to make a door now.
Who's a clever boy then? But it looks more like a sunhouse to me and I can just see me in there with my feet up whilst you do the digging. ;D

Fantastic job. Loving the price too ;D
There are a couple of examples of homemade greenhouses at http://www.growyourown.info/page19.html
looks like no 56 bus is about to pull up outside it ;) ;) ;) ;)
sorry my very dry sense of humour! im just jealous that i paid alot of money for mine!
I must photo the one on our site made from double glazed units...
and I have a full bus shelter's worth of toughened glass as huge cloches!
;D
I never had never built anything from wood-not even a stool! My first project was a greenhouse-well dive in at the deep end?.
It was when I had lotties in Leeds-if you look closely at my avatar you can just see it. It looks better from a distance and I did have to buy most of the wood and glass but it was a lot cheaper than any equivalent to buy
congrats for it its looking good..... very annoyed by the weather last summer, i've done one myself last autumn and its coming very handy. i made a mistake using corrugated pastic for the roof which snapped off very easy and made a mess. so i invested in the good the stuff very strong plastic sheets... mean to be stronger than glass.... not cheap but was worth it. my greenhouse is huge and still costed peanuts compare to the ones in the market which are very fragile. and please no glass. just took over a plot is full of broken glass ... real pain to clear up. enjoy.
Hey Tibo and Gen....When I went in to water the greenhouse the other day I was well impressed with the toms...I put some gear in my incinerator this afternoon and noticed your car outside my house when I came in...sorry I did not say hi...I guess it was to wet to take the motor in.
Take Care
Tony
