Fabulous SBG, when the young uns appreciate it, you know you've done something right!
Its just missing cucumber and tomatoes :) LOL.
Isn't it great when you get to eat what you have grown.
I only started growing veg and salad last year and I'm still thrilled every time I harvest something ;D

I know, it wont be that long though!! :D ;)
Grow a salad leaves mix to pep it up a bit... only takes a couple of weeks at this time of year in a trough.

Brilliant ;D
Lovely, I know how happy I felt when the only thing I haven't provided for the meal is the meat. Give me a couple of acres, semi retirement, and as my OH has predicted a brown coat, wellies and string for a belt (female compo), and I'll put that right as well.
My long held ambition of becoming Margaret Rutherford by my 65th birthday is still a possibility........LOL i think ;D
Thats great SBG ;D
I also had my first crop of radish yesterday...wow what a difference in flavour ;)
Ive also had a few juicy strawberries when the weather was baking.
Really looking forward to salad leaves like yours...should be next week as long as torrential rain we've been having doesnt kill them off ::)
we've got rocket leaves and lettuce ready to eat too, they are delicious!!! ;D ;D
