I miss TRIXIEBELLE too. The place just isn't the same without her- I mean, nowadays threads can stay on-topic for DAYS  :o, and there's far too little SHOUTING too, IMHO

Seriously, I hope everything's OK

WHADDYAMEAN ABOUT SHOUTING!!

I'm a little kitten really  ;)

I'm here - but only just: Replying to my good mate Denbee :)

I've been busy dealing with family crises and trying to build a garden in my back-yard (raised beds and bricks & 400 tonnes of compost)

Today I have been trying to take cuttings from honeysuckle & rosemary - I don't think it will be successful but it's worth a try: I've taken cuttings and put them into pots with their roots dipped into 'Hormone Rooting Powder' - no doubt the hormone rooting powder is derived from the glands of 50 million Chinese rare monkeys and I'll feel guilty in a couple of weeks. But hey! It's worth a shot.

Lots of love to you all. Trixie XXXX

Good to hear from you, Trixie. I thought of you because we were thinking about making another trip to that lovely wood you told us about to see it in spring.
Hope the family crises are over.
I have finally managed to get one successful cutting of rosemary after trying many times, probably at the wrong time of year.Jekka McVicar recommends taking cuttings after flowering or trying layering.

Thanks Saddad!

Caro! Good luck with the rosemary - I idolise Mrs Jekka but there comes a time in every girl's life when you just have to stick it in the ground and hope for the very best  ;D

There's my Trix.  :)

I'd like to say thanks to her, because even when I'm at my most inaccessible, Trix tries to get through to me, and doesn't give up when she only hears an echo.  :)
