Cane blight? Coukld be this if the cane started to go brown and patchy from the bottom up - which looks like it might have happened because the shoots off the cane aren't yet caught.

I'm with jenny on this one! but as an after thought has anyone been spraying herbicide nearby?

Difficult to cause too much damage to raspberries with just a whiff of herbicide.

Once caught some mature plants with glyphosate myself when the wind backed suddenly. Not only did they not die, but came up next year, slightly shorter, and produced the most enormous fruits I have ever seen!
