Title: Runner Bean Seeds!!!!!
Post by: Nobbyman on May 16, 2008, 13:00:57
Hello all - Another stupid question I'm sure but.......

I planted me runner bean seeds out in pots 2 weeks ago yesterday ready for transplanting to my plot!!

But there is still no sign of life!!!  ???

Is this normal, do I abandon or keep the faith?

under cover or not? depends on the temperatures outside but it has been unseasonally warm for many, maybe gently have a peek to see what's happening and there's plenty of time to sow more

They don't seem to like the seed compost too wet after the initial soaking, but I could be wrong about this...

As with all beans and other large flat seeds, planting them on their sides makes some difference i reckon.
