Title: nitrogen loving plants
Post by: pamthepiggy on May 15, 2008, 20:23:03
Hello everyone, Does anyone know which plants love nitrogen other than sweetcorn? We planted nitrogen fixing beans in the soil as a green manure, but not sure of many nitrogen loving plants to follow on with. Thanks from piggy

i'd have thought any plant grown for the leaves would go for nitrogen. Something that wouldn't be good with high nitrogen would be onions

actually i've no idea how much nitrogen gets fixed in the soil after a legume crop. Maybe you just get something on the high side of "normal"
