I was given some beans(?) to plant.
The guy who gave them to me is away and i am trying to label what i have planted. The problem is. I cant remember what he said they were.
They are pink colour, with black brindle pattern on them. They are just under an inch in length. i think they maybe some sort of runner bean ???
Does anyone have any ideas ?
Thanks in advance.
borlotti?
I think Borlotti are pink and white. Pink with black sounds like a runner bean -
(my Scarlet Emperor are pink with Black).
If you've any left over a photo alongside a coin (for size) would help.
French bean seeds are much smaller than runners but other climbing beans (like Borlotti) can be quite large.
I think they may be runners. I am sure thats what he said.
Thanks for the help.
My runner beans looked like that - I was quite surprised :)
They are called 'best of all'
