I was looking for a grown plant as it is too late to germinate seeds. However, I do not mind you sending me the seeds for the next season. ;D

How do you package seedlings so they won't get damage in the post?
Wrap them in damp tissue, shove them into a plastic bottle chopped in half or other container, and tape it all up.

Is it me :o ?? As I have to say that I would not think of asking for plants, especially the kind that are easy to grow - like tomatoes which can even be grown from seeds from a purchased tomato. I'd have thought that a grower would know at the beginning of the season what they want to grow that year and then purchase the seeds or use the wonderful Swop Shop. I have sent and received perennial plants this year but this request just seems strange to me.
Hi Nadia, I have got 1 or 2 yes :-[ I'll see if I can find one that the label hasn't faded on so you'll at least know what it is! Do you have any particular preference? PM me your address and I'll see what I can sort out. I'm not sure how well they'll travel though?

I used to grew my own plants from seeds, but it is the first time I ask for plants as I thought I would not grew any more plants after I lost my allotment to the coincil. However, I still could not resisted it and was too late to germinate seeds. I have people asking me to get them some seeds from abroad when I go for holiday this year.

Wow, this has been an on-going post, hasn't it :-\
Nadia, this time of year surely it would be better for you to buy whatever you need to fill your two growbags - things are really cheap now and surely equal to, or even less, than the reimbursement of the post and package to members? Just a thought cos while I was out buying (yet more ;)) bags at the weekend, tom plants were priced at £1 each at my local store...no way could I pack up a plant & send it for that price.
btw...the seeds you are going to get for peeps (and presumably offer them for swaps?) What are they please? Many thanks and best of luck with your growbags ;D

I wanted to know what varieties people have and this forum was the best place for that. People asked for all sort of seeds. When I go abroad they give big packets and I can not use all the seeds. The rest get out of date for germination by time, that is before I came to know this forum. I hope I have answered your questions 8)
