Complete with soil temperature! Who knew? I love this site.
Great! Now I'm really depressed been trying to dig my 'concrete' today i was really hoping for some rain to soften it. I tried watering it but only had partial success....only a couple of weeks ago it was too wet. only a small window of opportunity! :(
And the best part is that you can look out for Smith periods ahead.
Well that was helpful... Plants and veg are going in lol!!!...
Metacheck looks good - but they always get it wrong...... in my area anyway.
"Spd 10mph"?
Is that how fast my potatoes are growing?
Always double check with Accuweather - the opposite!!
And since most 2-3 day forecasts are only 50% correct, try flipping a coin?
I've just checked out Accuweather Tim, and I am so plesed to see my risk of heavy snow, Ice or a rapid freeze, is minimal ;D
Oh, good!!
As said earlier, the forecasts for this VERY important w/e were poles apart.
One was Bright Spells - the other, 25mm Rain!!
what is the average soil temp at the moment then i can think of better things to spend £3.95 a month on more seeds soz
It's free ???
I love it when you have two different forecasts for the same day on Metcheck at the same time!! Eg 48hrs and 7days but in more detail!!
;D
Well add the BBC into the mix and you'll really get confused.
I gave up on Metcheck a while ago. Their seven-day forecast seemed such a good idea, allowing one to plan for outdoor activities etc. a whole week ahead. But, on its forecast, I made an arrangement for four days ahead - on the following day the seven-day forecast had changed completely! I - (or anyone!) - could do a seven day forecast if it could be changed on a daily basis! What's the point of it?
Then there was the snow on 06 April.
BBC weather forecast on 05/04/08 said a possible few inches in the south of England. Looked on Metcheck - snow risk in my area:- zero, nothing, zilch.
We had four inches.
Nuff sed.
metcheck make it up. If you think someone can tell you rainfall to point one of a millimetre in fourteen days time you must be off your nut.
