Post by: carolinej on May 13, 2008, 07:03:10
I have a Bosnian squash plant grown from a seed from a swap. I think it was Jeannines.

Does anyone know anything about it?

Thanks

Hi carolinej, they came from me.Bosnian squash is more a courgette or zucchinni if you like that word better. It grows very wild more like a pumpkin,i think you can let him climbing, than he doesnot takes so much space. The fruits are light green with little white spots wenn the grow bigger, the taste is like courgettes, great to stuff  it with all kind of goodies and put it in the oven.I hope you got enough information,if not you know were i am to ask more. ;D ;D ;D ;D

I'll train it over my trellis then, and be munching them all summer long ::).

The leaves are very pretty ::)
