Title: Cauli surprise
Post by: Suzanne on May 12, 2008, 18:38:22
Went to lottie after work today and got a nice surprise. Along with my PSB and asparagus I checked my overwintered caulis which had done nothing up till last week, I even thought they may be spring cabbage as so slow, but today lovely white creamy curds forming and only about a 4 - 5 days off picking.

I haven't grown overwintered ones before but they look to have been well worth it - will beginning picking just as PSB starts to run out.

Oh mine only started to form curds once I pegged the large leaves together  :o. Tip somebody gave me at the plant sale back on bank holiday Saturday. Well it's appears to be working  ;D
