My asparagus isn't going to seed yet, but my rhubarb is. ???

I've had one flower on the rhubarb which i nipped in the bud. Asparagus A OK so far.

I'm getting lots of flowers on the rhubarb. It's wilting a bit too, which is most unusual, and I think it was damaged by the waterlogging last year. The asparagus is newly planted, and coming up well now.

my conovers colossal is doing just fine and tastes absolutly fantastic no signs of going to seed. but the purple pecific is lookinf a but thin and pathetic

How do you mean "going to seed"?

Don't you chop them off at 6 inches or so?

Mine are heaving up through the soil and getting cut every day, now.
