Title: Charlie's got em out.
Post by: Plot69 on May 08, 2008, 22:18:27
The old chap Charlie on the next plot but one, put all his tomatoes out today.

He's only had his plot 48 years longer than me so I think I'll trust him and follow his lead.

He might also have a HUGE stash of fleece somewhere ;D. Having said that I planted some out today as well but I dont have 48 to worry about and I can cover them quite happily if needs be.

We put 12 plants out yesterday. If they don't make it we have plenty more plants!

Yeah I put a few out, just too see what would happen. Weather has been good up here.

I have four Sungolds in the house growing well that will be put in growbags outside.

I went and put another half dozen G/D's in today. Also all my sweetcorn and my marrows.

I've kept a few back just in case Charle's wrong.

We planted out 8 yesterday evening, early for us, but we've got plenty in reserve and they were desperate to get out of their pots ::)

Peterborough's pretty tropical at the moment. Just got home from a weekend cruising up and down the river and I'm just off to the plots to water everything... Including the tomatoes and sweetcorn I planted out last week.
